About Sara Claire
Sara Claire (she/her) is a Haitian-American mother, writer, and womanist as described by Alice Walker. She is committed to uplifting and empowering black women. This personal mission of hers informs all areas of her life, especially as a filmmaker. She has studied screenwriting and acting at The Second City Training Center in Chicago and received her MFA in Screenwriting at DePaul University in June 2023. It is no surprise her first web series, SINGLE. BLACK. WOMEN. revolves around black women trying to find themselves.
In her free time, you can find Sara Claire playing with her son, obsessing over Beyoncé, or watching a rom-com with pizza and wine.

SINGLE. BLACK. WOMEN.
"SINGLE. BLACK. WOMEN." is a web series set for release in 2024. It centers around Afroditi, a hopeless romantic, who has spent her life in perpetual singleness. As she navigates her own quest for love, she begins to question the reasons behind the singleness of the Black women around her, all while striving to transform her own romantic life.
